I would argue that some of the comparisons being made are flawed as well. When Nyn was locked in a power struggle with Moggy, it was everything she had thrown at her, and vise versa. Moggy got stuck in an arm wrestle instead of the boxing match she could have won. Rand and Asmo did not. They were leveling mountains and throwing massive attacks at each other. They boxed, Asmo was the trained professional, Rand the untrained brute. I would say that because the two battles were completely different that the Moggy is less "strong" than Asmo is moot.


I agree that the comparison is unfair and somewhat of a false analogy. When we are dealing with magical forces, it is problematic to resort to straightforward comparisons.
