Why did the rainbow visions get so boring? - Edit 1

I know this is a tiny thing, but it was irritating me.
One of Mat's visions was "Rand and Min, sharing a meal."
There's just no point whatsoever in showing that if that's all you're going to say about it. Always before they actually let the ta'veren know some detail about the others. Like, Rand doesn't have a hand anymore. Rand has a bunned Aes Sedai with him who looks formidable. Rand is at the White Tower talking to Egwene (that would have been cool to see from Mat or Perrin's perspective).
