First of all she is the only AS to have eliminated a forsaken, and except for a few of the forsaken most of WoT believes she has eliminated two, one of them considered to be the most powerful woman ever. She was also the one who not only traveled to the Aiel waste but brought back wagon loads of ter'angreal from Rhuidean. I would be willing to bet that her status amongst most AS (not only the SAS) will be very high. This is especially true if she can still channel. I can see her as "Ambassador without Portfolio" to the Dragon Reborn with her primary role to be between Rand and the AS. I can also see her as an ambassador to the Borderlanders as she is well known there. Her Warder was the storied Dai'shan of Malkier. If she hooks up with Thom they would make a formidable team, with Thom suppling her with all kinds of valuable information.
She is trusted by Rand (at least as much as he trusts anybody outside of his 3) According to RJ she is revered by the SAS, and, I imagine, most of the unaligned AS and even many in the Tower. She also has ties to the Borderlanders and to Cairhein. I can absolutely see her as a roving ambassadorial "trouble shooter" for Rand.
