I'm just not sure if his place will be as the leader of male Aes Sedai or whether he will defend the People of the Dragon; it seems to make sense that he comes from Arafel when we've heard that that nation has strange historical connections to the Tinkers that he might possibly guard the Aiel (perhaps the gai'shain will become something like the male Aes Sedais' Warders) using a Sword that isn't a Sword.
