I don't think it's unfair of me to post my idea out anyway, and although you weren't harsh, it's a weird bit of feedback:
some theories on this board lately read like this - "Demandred is totally gonna kill Rand how lolz would it be if he became good after getting his revenge on LTT? How do you think he'll do it? Opinions?"

I wrote as much as I could without writing way too much, and I did it cause I didn't feel like I had enough to go on. All the cryptic/brief answers (not to mention RAFOs) on topics exactly like this - souls, the DO, what the hell this battle is about, the bore.

RJ hasn't left me with enough solid ground on which to say exactly how Rand would be sacrificed. I would think, though, that it's his soul, not his actual body, that would be used.

I will try to write out some cogent additions based on my ideas. But I'm not being chicken here - I remember RJ not wanting to say whether channeling is a property of the body or of the soul! And I'm pretty sure that was by the CoT point. There was just too dang much he wouldn't reveal.
