Regarding the Empire's treatment of channelers--I wouldn't be the least surprised if RJ intended for us to conclude that channeling would be bred out of humanity during this industrial age led by the Seanchan. It has to happen eventually, right?


I reckon Aviendha is going to come up with some method of blocking the ability to channel for everyone after the Last Battle. In one swoop, she takes away the main weapon of the Seanchan and sets the world up for a new, non-channeling, age. This way she can stop her visions coming true.
