Actually, the end of the book gave me the chills. All of the great Armies gathered together. Tear, Illian, the White Tower, the Borderlanders, Caemlyns armies, the Band or at least part of it...and the Whitecloaks,etc.... Perrin's gathering as well. All in all quite a formidable group and one that we all (kinda) knew would end up together. Add in the Seanchen who are on their way....



Missing from this, though is the Ashamen...

Due to the funky timeline, is it possible that the Ashamen will arrive in time for the gathering? It is hard to fathom that they will not be there. As much as Rand's ignoring them has bothered me, and a lot of us, how could they NOT be present? They have to be as important to what's happening at the Fields as, lets say the Aes Sedai.

Is it possible that the timeline will be caught up in AMOL and while Rand is speaking trying to get the Dragon's Peace that gateways will open and Ashamen will file out in support of him? Of course, this would be AFTER whatever events happen there at the Black Tower.

The 2 missing ingredients to this gathering is the Seanchen and the Ashamen. We know the Seanchen are on their way to the WT....

Would Luv to see the Ashamen show up as well, with Logain at their head as the male channelers have got to be crucial to the LB.

But will the Ashamen be there during the meeting. So far we have not seen anything past the point where Rand is there. I believe that they will show and the Black Tower division will be resolved by the time the Fields thing is completed.
