Rearranging time-series in the books would be an enormous endeavor--dialogue would have to be rewritten, minor characters' placements changed, etc.
Obviously, as an e-book there is no length limit, but I seriously doubt they would ever "fix up" the problems of the subdivision simply to cater to the small group of die-hard fans on the internet.
