From Egwene's perspective Rand doesn't have much of one either. Near as I can tell everyone agrees the seals have kept the DO from directly touching Randland. Everyone agrees if the DO will destroy the world if the seals are broken and nothing is done to seal/repair the bore. Rand has been unstable. Rand plan so far is to break the seals and he will figure out what to put in its place. Not much of a plan. I think it is a reasonable response from Egwene to oppose the breaking of the seals.
To be fair to egwene no one should hate her for doing exactly what rand wants which is gather the worlds armies and leaders in one place so he can explain his plan. All he did is manipulate her into thinking she had no choice but to do what she did. all in all egwene just isn't as bright as she thinks she is.
