7 might be possible if they cut most of the characters and most of the story. *NM*

Yeah I know this has been discussed before, but I'm killing time in work so play along
I'm thinking 5-7 films could do the story justice. We've seen with HP and Twilight there is scope for the large film series so I ask you how many would you like to see.
One standalone - could be great, no doubt just Eye of the World but will be ruined when sequels are thrown in after the standalone makes so much money, e.g. Matrix
Trilogy - could be ok but would miss far too much of the story. Maybe remove the Seanchan completely from the story to accommodate.
5-7 films could do the story justice and get a lot of the key points WOT universe included.
14 films... everyone would lose patience so not bloody likely.
Whats your preference?
If WOT were to be made into a movie series, how many would you like to see?

Personally I'd rather see WOT adapted into a HBO/Starz cable series, like Game of Thrones. *NM*

this helps my boredom in work how exactly? I qualified my question with an "if" *NM*

Meh. Saying "if" won't change the fact that it won't. You're living in a fantasy world man! *NM*

This is an exercise in futility. WoT will not be made into a movie, so why waste energy on ...

agreed, I fear we would all have to lower expectations somewhat, CG in it would be awesome though *NM*

It's already in "graphic novel" form. The comic books are released bimonthly or sumthin like that.

A Tetralogy for theatrical; a mini-series with CGI as an ideal release

I can confirm that Warner has the rights on an already adapted screenplay!

I've said all along, it could never be done justice so I hope they never try. That includes T.V. *NM*

There's already an IMDB page for TEotW and debate about whether it will REALLY be out next year.

I think it would be awesome if Michael Bay or George Lucas directed it. HAHA
