I liked the book alright, but I tend to talk about the good and exciting things first - Edit 1

and I think a lot of people are this way. Now that I'm done talking about the stuff I loved, I'm on to nitpick phase. That will be over soon and then I'll chill out.
This isn't really related to ToM, but I think the two major worries for me are his portrayals of Tuon and Moiraine. I don't think he does Tuon well so far. Moiraine was fine in ToM (for me), but the idea of Brandon trying to write a good portion of her character in AMoL has me... quite worried. To the point that I'm not all that excited about the book. Hopefully he proves my worries unjustified. She's my favorite character though. In any story. I want him (and Harriet) to be very careful with her
I would put the book in the bottom third of the series, but I love all of the books in the bottom third of the series.
