Don't hate me because I dislike the hobbit! (didn't say I HATED it. just didn't think it was all that and a wheel of cheese too!)
It was pendantic, plodding and just plain uninteresting to me. Least Lord of the Rings was exciting WORLD Changing stuff that defined a new genre. The Hobbit was just.... meh in comparison to that.
Least for me.
