The Wise Ones are supposed to be the authority figures regarding the Dreamworld but there's one very basic thing they never showed any evidence of knowing:
When you are in Teleranriod your very soul is your body there and if you die you will never be reborn.
This gap in their knowledge is simply horrible.
I hoped that Perrin will tell Egwene this during their meeting in dream-Tower. That she would realize that she hadn't just killed Nicole she'd killed her forever.

I hoped that Perrin will tell Egwene this during their meeting in dream-Tower. That she would realize that she hadn't just killed Nicole she'd killed her forever.
The irony would be that Elayne, Nynaeve and Birgitte should be able to tell her, if not for that stupid "you can't tell Egwene who I am even though she's made it painfully clear she already knows" rule of Birgittes. Which is symptomatic of one of the Lights big problems, and I'd add to the list of Great Themes if not for the fact I'm no longer sure RJ intended to expose it as such. I tend to agree with the gist of what Dom said though, maybe just because I'm so pissed at RJ repeatedly slaughtering Hopper (all he has to do is whack Elyas and he'll have eliminated almost everyone I like who's unique to Perrins plotline): Reincarnation and cycles in general are so integral to everything in Randland the idea of PERMANENT death is almost as strange as wondering where the permanently dead go. More interesting is that the WOs never mention Heroes of the Horn to Egwene, yet must surely have encountered them once or twice, however hard the Heroes strive to avoid notice.

Egwene and the WIse Ones don't know the most basic thing about Teleranriod

IIRC Nicola was killed by a Black Ajah Sister and Egwene had tried to save her.

Also, I'm not sure how you could expect the Wise Ones to know that.

Not @ all - if humans regularly go to TAR after they die, we'd have seen it already. Heroes would
