Mat's poor writing skills actually make sense

1. Matts letter.
I find this letter to be less than credible. Matt is not uneducated, nor is he a fool. I find it almost impossible to believ that a character with an inate understanding of tactics and strategy combined with the memories of hundreds of generals, would be so completely ignorant of how to spell, write and most of all the game of houses.

While it is true, his added memories (though I thought all he received was battle/strategy memories, NOT their whole education) probably should give him an increased vocabulary let-alone what he has learned outside the TR, people who complain about the letter seem to forget he is NOT the most literate of the three boys. Mat has said that books never really interested him and Loial made the comment that Rand is the only one of the three who really has a love for books so it actually makes sense for Mat to not be advanced in vocab, grammar, and spelling.
FYI: I'm not saying Mat isn't intelligent for he has clearly demonstrated otherwise(other mens' memories aside), he's just not as literate which would account for his lack of vocab. (which is probably why Rand knew the correct term "wick" for where you put the fire on a firework and Mat didn't.)
I'm sure Mat's fans are going to flay me now.
I love you Rand.

I love Ituralde, slightly A-teamish but better more realistic than most of the stuff in there *NM*

+1, given the casualties on the Light side, I don't see what's A-Teamish? *NM*

Well I'm pretty sure he wrote it out himself. I doubt that's a detail RJ would have outlined.

Mat isn't 7, & he wrote a perfectly fluent letter in a matter of minutes under pressure from a noble

That is what made me think Mat wrote the letter that way on purpose.
