I'm not disagreeing, merely stating that however unpleasant Seanchan rule might have been for a portion of Randland, they may very well have given up plans for conquering the entire continent, had the Aiel not provoked them and Andor into an out-and-out war. But once the Aiel brought Andor into the war, it was an all-or-nothing battle.

That is, Rand bowing to Tuon was part of the problem, but not the only problem. And is Aviendha really going to be able to prevent that? See, that's what I'm wondering--what must Aviendha specifically do to prevent the Raven/Aiel War?
The chief difficulty Alice found at first was in managing her flamingo.

It seems clear to me that Rand bowing to the Seanchan Empress is the cause of all the problems... - 28/11/2010 09:06:50 AM 1032 Views

I was out-disturbed by the mass suicide of the Amayar, but this was disturbing in a different way - 28/11/2010 02:38:38 PM 826 Views
