The only people who can know that are those who have seen them. And I doubt DomA is one of them.
Listen, we know that Rj intended to write the 5 main plot archs in parallel, and that BS took two of them, created an artificial and poorly thought out break-off point and made a novel out of it. This resulted, as DomA rightly points out, in a novel structure that is a complete departure from what RJ intended. The result is that ToM is a structural mess. RJ's vision was not honoured, and frankly, I think, ruined by this.
A novel is more than the sum of its "scenes". BS may be correct that all of the scenes RJ planned are going to be in there, but the fact remains that when these scenes have been removed from the context where RJ wanted them, their impact is diminished. This results in a poorer novel and a dilution of RJ's vision, which is exactly what Sanderson has given us.
What was the purpose of Graendal?!
