Hello everyone !
A thought occured to me and I wanted to share it with my fellows RAFO-ers. I haven't seen it posted yet, but I may be mistaken... sorry if you've already seen and debated this
With the avent of the ring of light in the clouds above Rand, could the "Twice dawns the day" line refer to this phenomenon ?
For instance, consider the following chain of events :
1) Normal dawn, day has begun and Rand goes to SG (or breaks the seals). The clouds are there, as always...
2) During the final events (at SG, or after Rand breaks the seals), his ring of light in the clouds disappears, the clouds become even darker, bringing night in the middle of the day.
The disappearance of the ring of light may be due to Rand dying, doubting in the final confrontation or whatever else I didn't think of (lots of things I'm sure).
3) Rand finally overcomes and prevails in his struggle (against the DO, against despair, against Moridin I don't know) and gets back his ring-of-light-in-the-clouds-mojo. Sunlight appears again in the darkest hours and bham, second dawn.
Maybe this has been obvious to some of you all this time, but I hust thought of it :p
