The pattern quite clearly does like throwing it's weight around Insomdeon Send a noteboard - 20/11/2010 10:54:59 PM
The pattern has intervened in minute day to day goings on in randland many times.

It has caused an Amyrlan seat to fall off her horse on the point of uniting the human race, it has caused people to be reborn at particular points in time to keep the world flowing toward it's end game. It's interference in recent times has become even more pronounced to the tune of spinning out a half dozen false dragons.

It spun out Artur Hawkwing at exactly the right time in history to bring humanity back from the brink of another breaking.

It continuously helps Perrin in his bumbling leadership of the two rivers. Verin even remarks on it when he gathers his people under him.

However, It is entirely possible that callandor was used to create the seals.
