But if her memories of her prior lives when disaster occurred are fading, it would make sense. RugbyPlayingAshaman Send a noteboard - 19/11/2010 09:55:24 PM
"Winter's Heart" was about five books ago, and Birgitte had repeatedly mentioned that her memories of her prior lives were fading. In that case it would make sense that she would forget all of the times the sword was not a good selection for her if she needed to use it - I think the important thing about her POV from that "Winter's Heart" chapter is that it was implied that she chose the sword multiple times and I think it was because in those other lifetimes, that was the best weapon to use, even if she almost got killed. That's why I think the same situation is going to come up soon.

Maybe she's forgetting those older memories about why she didn't like them? - 19/11/2010 09:15:47 PM 592 Views
seems like a pretty dramatic turn around IMO - 19/11/2010 09:32:41 PM 580 Views

She does mention that it annoys her but she has to wear it. - 28/11/2010 12:25:46 PM 505 Views
It's a slip, almost as bad as showing Aiel carrying swords. *NM* - 19/11/2010 10:13:23 PM 242 Views
