1. I don't think LTT ever came so close to going over the Shadow as Rand did.

2. He was Like Rand before Rand used the TP. He (LTT) was desperate and wasn't thinking about the consequences; winning the Last Battle was the only thing that mattered. But he never hit rock bottom.
