I highly doubt his Talent was specifically tailored to defeat a certain ter'angreal. Bookwyrm Send a noteboard - 16/11/2010 05:56:47 PM
Sure, Androl has the remarkable ability to weave Gateways of any size between an inch to 2-wagons size, but that doesn't mean he can bypass something that was specifically designed to prevent ALL forms of Traveling. That includes Skimming and saidar Gateways, which btw use Tel'Aran'Rhiod as a portal hub. What other form of Traveling is there, or could be made that does the same thing as the original but bypasses metaphysical obstacles? I think the OP rules/laws behind Traveling is finite and irrefutable, grounded in the 2 planes of existence that make up the mainstream reality.

The only option I see is finding the Dreamspike and move, deactivate, or destroy it. Or Androl somehow develops a Talent to time-travel via Gateways. OR, if you really stretch for another option, make a Gateway that uses the shadow-worlds that the Portal Stones navigates.

P.S. A Gateway through the Ways could be another option but that demiplane is too similar to that which ppl Skim through to make use of.
BOHICA - Go ahead, ask me what it means.
