I think Brian Sanderson did a pretty good job, but on a personal note I wasn't invested in some of the characters that were given major POVs, which made the book seem like it was trying to make their roles be larger than they had to be as a matter of checking off a list of things to wrap up (Gawyn, Perrin and Galad fall into this category). I did notice the timeline issue that some readers had warned us about moreso than I thought I would - it becomes a problem when I tried to consider where the various characters were in relation to each other, and I had to consciously remind myself to not think about it. This could have been solved by creative editing and moving some sections around - it really felt as if the flow of the story was off even though the pace was going well.
