Defeat her because Mesaana is no warrior. She was an administrator. Egwene is very confident that she can face Mesaana and win... She flat out says she can do it.

Yup. This does show that Egwene is confident of her OP abilities. She may have intended to have an angreal with her for any such confrontation, though if she did, no mentions was ever made of it despite her having repeated chances to.

I think this shows that Egwene is confident of her skills in the Power a lot more than her abilities in TAR, though it really should be the other way around. That god she met Perrin. Can't wait for those two to team up in TAR.
