I think the biggest disjointed bit was Tam being in two spots and times at once.

Seriously, yes, I agree the chronology was off and disturbing. Perhaps it doesn't matter per se now that everyone is gathered together (except Mat, Thom, Moiraine, and Tuon/Seanchan forces), but it was systematically problematic. Hopefully they can tighten things up for the last book.
