A thin slice of Air would do it, exactly how Lanfear did it to the man in WH. Great Lord of Chaos Send a noteboard - 05/11/2010 07:52:03 PM
What does everyone think about the creepy-*ss Aiel at the end? My only thoughts are that they're either Aiel who could channel, went to the Blight to die, and were turned to the Shadow...or something to do with super-demon-Padan Fain-Mordeth-creature.

I think they're Aiel that could channel and were converted to the Dark.

Now that I've looked on here, that seems to be the consensus...but I'm not convinced. After all, if they were channelers, why would they bother going for belt knives to polish the guy off? They would be trained to just kill dudes with the Power...

On top of that, they never show any signs of channeling at all.

I think they may be cannibals, killing them with the power might just destroy the *meat*. I don't imagine there'd be much eatable food in the blight and those teeth suggested something like this to me.
Ὦ ξεῖν', ἀγγέλλειν Λακεδαιμονίοις ὅτι τῇδε
κείμεθα, τοῖς κείνων ῥήμασι πειθόμενοι.
