That will do her some good.
Why will it do her some good? Egwene has outgrown any person in Emonds Field, and it has nothing to do with her status as Amyrlin. She's seen the world and knows what its about, and she's shed her small town mentality and replaced it with a global perspective. I doubt that she and her parents have much in common anymore. Its like suggesting that Siuan should meet up with her parents.
No, I believe there is still some wisdom that she can learn from her mother and father. She needs to be remember what she was. Knowledge of the goings on in the world does not mean, she has become better in dealing with them. Marin and her husband had a certain earthly wisdom, which Egwene seems to lack or has lost. Yes, they lived in a village, but they were cognizant of the fact that the world is a wider and complex place. The Aiel Wise Ones, for all their training seem to have made her a tougher person, rather than a better person. She needs to apply those lessons in humility and patience that she learnt from them in her day-to-day life. Btw, living and being brought up in a small town also gives a perspective, losing that perspective completely means letting go of something quintessentially Two Rivers' like. Which is what happened to Rand, but luckily he did a course correction and seems more like his previous self, but without the excessive boyish indecisiveness and foolhardiness. He still retains those qualities to a certain level though.
Egwene needs to become a simpler person, let go of this desire to acquire power and hang on to it. Why did she decide to become Amrylin anyway? Why does she want to be an Amrylin? What is her end goal? To help defeat the DO, or to be the Amrylin until she can?
People continuously forget that Egwene is the most powerful woman on the continent. She needs to be as tough as nails or she'll be pulled down by evil forces, or even her own Hall.
IMO, she doesnt need to be like that.
I am afraid, in becoming so tough, she is becoming more and more similar to the Hall and the rot that has become a part of the Aes Sedai organisation. If she really thinks her own Hall is going to remove her, then maybe she should make a public declaration to all Aes Sedai that they are not supposed to do such things and disband the Ajah structure that is there currently. In addition to that, she should educate the Aes Sedai that what they really ought to be is servants of the people, rather than puppeteers. If the Aes Sedai continue to behave as earlier, she should just ask the Aes Sedai to swear fealty to her, if that is going to help her uphold Dharma, or step down from that seat, and contribute however she can individually towards helping the Light.
I hope this doesnt sound like the ramblings of a mad-man. I am finding it difficult to articulate my thoughts.
Isn't everyone in WoT re-born?

Not if it allows the Seanchan freedom to conquer Randland. I'd rather have Egwene over the slavers.

She's a short, female, youngest child of influential parents. Arrogance would come naturally to her.
