Yeah because once Rand said he would listen later it would be physically impossible Egwene to continue to speak. I mean lets be real here, there is no way that she could have just gone ahead and said it anyway. It's not like it was important enough for Egwene to be rude. Plus Egwene always does what men tell her right? She is so submissive and introverted throughout the series that the thought of her telling Rand he was being a fool and to listen to her anyways is utterly outlandish.
Rand ended the conversation and turned away. Egwene barely managed to make him take permission before going (which, as he immediately realized, made sense since it strengthened her position among the AS). How was she to discuss whatever else she wanted to? Tie him up in Air and force him to listen?
And what if she wanted to discuss it in private? Once she let it out in public, there would be no way for her to go back even if Rand managed to convince her. It made eminent sense not to discuss this (and other dreams) with him in the open.
Want to slap Egwene *minor spoliers*

It's Nynaeve's choice. As Egwene said, anyone who wants to call themselves Aes Sedai must swear. *NM*

Yes, what DID the woman who refused to even entertain discussion of ditching the Oath have to do?

If only you'd content yourself with replies like that... at least it was brief.

Did she -in all her grandness and wisdom- mention that Dream to Rand?

To answer your question, no, she didn't tell him about her dream. *NM*

Funny how Eggy -in Fionwe's own words- 'blanked' out her own Dream then!
