You should've made a few ridiculous suggestions before springing Rand or Thom on them. Rand is a cool name.
How about Be'lal?
I had a brief moment of expecting better of her, then dismissed it. I loathe her more now than ever. Rand gave her more respect than she deserved, but he is now the epitome of what a leader should be instead of being like this snot-nosed twit who thinks everyone should get on their knees and kiss her feet. Her behavior with Nyn in TAR sickened me, btw...I'm supposed to believe this snotty power-hungry bitch is Nyn's FRIEND?? Since when do friends force each other to bow and scrape in private, no matter their public positions?
I've noticed that the amount of gushing her fans on this board do over her actions is inversely proportional to how ill those actions make me when I read about them. I most definitely wasn't disappointed this time around
I've never particularly liked Gawyn, but he deserves better than Egwene. Only Egwene would make a statement as stupid as her thoughts about him (paraphrasing): "He should obey my every whim, exist only as an extension of my will, but he's not a servant!". What a f%^%ing arrogant moron.
No he doesn't. The reason that Gawyn is Egwene's love interest is because he is the only character stupid enough actually be able to put up with the smell of her bullshit. Never have two literary characters deserved each other more. The sad thing is, I think RJ actually intended them to end up happy together. Urk...there's that nausea returning
Just finished Chapter 11.
