First. The misspelled words. ARGH! the book is repleat with them.
nd. *SPOILER ALERT* The columns at Ruhidean that showed the aiel their past starting from the age of ledgends forward have now changed to show the Aiel what happens in their future. It starts in the future and moves backwards this time. I am devistated with what happens to them. I hate it. Even more. I cant stand that the Seanchan are the victors in the end! I HATE THAT. How is that resolve? That has been a MAJOR conflict since book 2! How could that not be resolved for the better?? So what that they have good rule. Yay - no starving people and streets are safe. *waves a mini seanchan flag around* hogwash!
rd - i hate the phrase Not-something. He leaned up the not-stone and lit a pipe. He fell to the not-solid ground and grunted. He fell from the not-tree. He kicked the not-ball. He flipped the not-coin. *smacks forehead*
th - I was ready for the book to end at page 450. I would have been satisfied. More and better things happened. I am now exhausted after finishing the book. *sigh* I had a hard time picking the book back up after reading of the Aiel's future.
th - elayne is an idiot. Her POV makes her seem so intelligent. However, when we get glimpses of her from other people's POV she is an annoying twit. he holds herself in high regard i suppose.
th - There is a dark prophecy at the end that says perrin will die. people will be affected by his death. it will affect the dragon and throw everything off balance. I guess that perrin will lead the wolves from TAR.
th - Moiraine has been rescued. She has an ounce of power left though and is as weak as a kitten since the snakes/foxes fed off of her. The channeling enhanced their ecstacy. They traded her for mat's eye. He is better off with it now. Relying more on his luck rather than his instinct.
th - I know the DO will be defeated but I expect I'll enjoy anything about that victory. *sigh* I am not anticipating the next book at this point.
