I guess we tend to see the wise ones from a more positive light, given that they are, as a group, more devoted to helping Rand. But I don't see how they are all that much better than the Aes Sedai. At least as far as 'meglomania', the wise ones are just as bad as the aes sedai. There are a few annoying traits specific to the Aes Sedai, but hopefully Egwene will be working to change these.

And as Egwene mentioned in LoC, there are some weaves that the Wise ones do better, and some weaves that the Aes Sedai do better. Or that the Wise Ones don't even know about, such as healing. So just as far as channeling knowledge, there is plenty that will be beneficial to both groups to swap around.

And the windfinders, as pretty much everyone will agree, are the most annoying people in the entire series.

So I don't see how it is all that unfair an agreement.
