These are not overly long books and the printing is huge. Sanderson isn't as good a writer as Jordan, so he can't hold interest to read as fast or steadily as in the early books, but even tGS only took a few hours. Figure 8-10 hours at most, barring excessive interruptions and accounting for meals. I have a tradition (going back to tPoD, at least) of going out for breakfast, waiting for the bookstore to open and buying it right away. I finished every book on the day I bought it. Even as a kid, the only reason tFoH & LoC took a second day was because I got them for Christmas gifts and my parents insisted I visit with the rest of the family. If anyone cares enough about these books to come on a website and talk about them, why would you let it go for days and weeks?
