I don't like either Mat nor Perrin, so this may be a slower book for me to read than TGS, which I devoured in a day or two. Egwene and Rand are in my favorite storylines and for the most part, a lot of loose ends were tied up in "The Gathering Storm". I'm looking forward to "A Memory of Light", but that's because at this point, I want to know how the DO is defeated - none of the other subplots really seem that interesting.
I've started reading a few other books that I hadn't gotten a chance to read in the past year and just got into "The Steerswoman", so I'll probably read through that series before I read "Towers of Midnight".
