If the Authors do it "Lost"-style, it'll be far worse: Moiraine will almost say something, or possibly speak lines, but it won't mean anything. Then in the book's last sentences, she'll say "Hello, Rand" or "you have to kill your Ogier" or "you found a portal stone?" <horn blare> <echoey sound-effect>
