From the plot Egwene is some form of super woman, I know that is the point but its very tiring to read about her.
Like Rand is the saviour of the story but at least he comes across human, he's had to deal with some very dark inner thoughts/emotions. While Egwene has had to deal with a load of physical pressures it feels very contrived to read as she is always so self confident and knowing, (and things always seem to work out for her) it reads more like arrogance at times.
Hmmm I'm rambled a bit there, how to sum up... have you ever met someone who is really nice and seems to always get things right? after a while they get on your nerves as the majority of us have to deal with being flawed and someone seemingly perfect highlights that we aren't... thats my view of Egwene. As a reader we can see contradictions in her leadership yet the story progresses showing us that whats shes done was right regardless.
I guess I just don't like Egwene...
