And that's only one of the many things wrong with Lanfear/Moiraine theories.
But let's start there:
1) You pay, then you get the wishes. Or at best, you both happen at the same time. That's why Mat went dark BEFORE he got the medallion.
Mat asks for:
a) The holes in his memory to be filled
b) A way to be free of Aes Sedai, and
c) A way out of Rhuidean.
"What was asked will be given."
"The price will be paid."
"Burn you," he shouted, "what are you talking-"
Utter darkness closed around him. There was something around his throat. He could not breathe. Air. He could not....
Notice, he didn't get the medallion, and then get put out, and then pass out. Perhaps they happened simultaneously somehow, but he didn't get his stuff, and THEN get put out, then get hanged. That we know for certain.
Last on this one: what planet are you from? Where on earth do you get what you want and then pay. It is the other way around, you pay, then you get what you paid for. And you think the Finns, the ultimate bargainers, do it the other way? Seriously?
2) Why on earth would Lanfear (or Moiraine) even get any wishes?
They broke the agreement, and channeled wildly in the other zone, creating, from the looks of it, lots of light, which would have ticked the Finns off.
Plus, questions that touch the Shadow are punished by the Tear Finns, and Lanfear is Forsaken. They have to know via rummaging in her memories. No way they give HER wishes.
3) If your theory is correct, why on earth doesn't Lanfear just leave?
If she somehow makes a gateway to Caemlyn (she can still channel) and kills Asmodean with the power, bringing his body (back to Finnland?). Why doesn't she just kill him and step out and go somewhere else? How would they stop her? We know you can channel in Finnland, Rand does. Perhaps it is different before you bargain?
And if the Finns killed Asmo for her, he wouldn't recognize her, nor recognize her as Cyndane later. So it would have to be her channeling, which would make NO sense, if she can channel, she can escape. Unless the Finns have some sort of device to stop channelers, but then, how did she get there? Back to square one.
4) You are missing the whole transmitigation thing.
If indeed she is killed (as she must have been at some point), then no way can the DO bring her back in time to kill Asmo. If she isn't killed right away, we are back above: she's not likely to be granted a wish, if so, she doesn't get it until after she pays, and why didn't she simply escape, since if she killed him, she can channel and make a gateway?
5) You only get wishes about your own life/thread.
This restriction was on the Finns in Tear with regard to questions about the future of your own life. All of Rands and Mats questionss related to their own lives, and all of Mat's needs in Rhuidean likewise were about things HE needed (holes in memory, free of AS, and a way out).
A wish to kill someone else is affecting (ending) another thread. I believe this would cross the line and certainly be punished/not granted.
Anyway, I still maintain Lanfear didn't do it, and isn't even a realistic candidate. But maybe impossible was a bit strong. I guess we'll find out soon.

I agree. Larry, like Jason and a bunch of other people, got his copy because of the work he does.
