You now sound as cryptic as Sanderson and Jordan did. - Edit 1

I'm drawing a few assumptions from what you said in this post, though:

1. The revelation of Asmodean's killer may actually be much more than just an incidental name-dropping event, as in, "Oh, it was Graendal", which means that Jordan (and then Sanderson) kept it from us for more reasons than just to mess with us. I hope this is the case because I always felt that randomly keeping it from us was just mean-spirited and petty.

2. The changes in the Fox and Snake song are material to the plot development in Towers of Midnight. The phrase actually appears to be "Courage to strengthen, fire to --ind, music to daze, iron to blind", suggesting that the Finns can't be killed in the conventional sense, but could be hurt with iron weapons to be blinded and thus incapable of stopping someone's escape. Perhaps the second word is "find"?

3. There is a very unexpected twist in a major character's plot line that substantially affects what we know. While I continually and fervently hope it is Faile being exposed as a Darkfriend, there are a lot of other possibilities, like Bashere being exposed as Demandred (ironically, this is also tied to Faile - she would know if it was really her father before her or not) or another major "good" character turning out to be very, very evil (Thom, for example).

More cryptic comments from you would be appreciated, even though they are also frustrating at a certain level.
