If you have a problem with somebody, just NB them instead of announcing it on the MB.
I was like you when I first joined wotmania (many years ago). I felt as if nobody respected what I had to say and felt as though I was just being attacked. Once I thought about how I was acting and thinking (metacognition) I realize I was simply over reacting and often in the wrong. Many of my posts had come from very little thought and preparation while posts of others often take days, weeks, and sometimes months (elaborate theories) of researching in the books on top of years of reading and re-reading.
If you want to be taken seriously, you should look at how the respected members of each board put together theories and discussions and think about how much time it must have taken them to compose their thoughts into one fluid post.
Some of your ideas are interesting but many seem to be missing that much needed second, third, or even fourth look before it is posted.
In the case of this post (circa edit 5) you posed the subject line as though you would explain why you thought each character was so lacking in menace an uneffective but just went on to complain. Looking back at the initial post (see? research) the post didn't change much but the subject line makes it clear you intended the post to be one long whine-fest which would annoy anybody and apparently everybody. Do you really know anybody who enjoys listening to somebody whine? Why should old hats take a post seriously if it doesn't even seem as though the poster has taken the topic seriously?
There are much better ways of discussing characters than attempting to attack the author and comparing the characterization of villains to ones from another series (Goodkind? Really?).
One last thought: my initial reaction when opening your post was "too long; did not read." Never a good thing when you want to be taken seriously.
Better luck next time.

Although I don't tend to agree with Cannoli, and he can be rude... he's certainly not moronic. *NM*

Well it's not hypocritical for people who have called Cannoli for the same in the past

I wouldn't let it bother me. And I wouldn't respond with a curse word to try and prove a point.

Cannoli has riled me up with apparent dismissiveness and bile, but he's clearly not a moron. *NM*
