Much like Mat taking the Dagger from SL eliminated him as the choice. Of course Rand being the primary POV character also made it seem obvious to me from the beginning that he was the DR.

But like others have said I like a great many of the characters ... Egwene's POV is my personal favorite, with Mat a close second... I also wish we had more POVs from Nynaeve and some of the minor characters like Pevaara or Logain or Thom etc... I also love the Graendal POVs as I feel like those are when we learn a ton of information about both the plots of the FS and about the OP/TP.
