Much in the same way the white cloaks were spreading fear and misinformation about the Dragon Reborn, Rand needs to start publicizing factual information including all the good that he and his allies have accomplished. Even with all the great achievements he has made, much of the population still mistrusts and fears the Dragon Reborn. The population in general has been taught for years (for some reason I still do not understand) that instead of looking at the Dragon Reborn for hope they should instead fear him. A few of the things that need to be publicized include ending the abnormal winter, saving the men at Tarwin's Gap, giving the masses basic rights, feeding the hungry, stopping or preventing needless and unimportant wars, protecting countries from Shaido and Seanchan invasion, liberating Andor from forsaken rule, establishing schools for learning to help in the fight against the shadow and help rebuild after TG, sparing the white tower after they kidnapped him, ending the abnormal summer, cleaning saidin, destroying Shadar Logoth, making armies and preparing for TG, and most importantly of all deciding to allow another turning of the wheel. Now he and his allies have accomplished all this and more, but few are aware or appreciate what has been done for them. In short he/they need a really good publicist. After all, if no one knows of all the good that has been done, why would the majority of people support the Dragon Reborn considering all the bad prejudice that has been expressed about him for centuries.

Probably the only group of individuals that could pull off any significant attitude change among the masses would be the aes sedai, especially when it comes to spreading the fact that saidin has been cleansed. The thing is, I doubt either the Dragon Reborn or any of the Asha'man are going to like that, they are not going to like it at all.
