And that sticks out more as I reread. I was mostly annoyed by the politics and pacing. Mat and Tuon are really great in CoT, and I know there was another part that struck me as pretty cool on my reread, I just can't remember right now.
They'd have been really great, but NOTHING happened! Not a single thing! He gave her a paper rose, that's all. All the cooler between then happened in KoD.
I think I enjoyed Elayne's story the most.
CoT was the very first WOT book I bought, by the way. And the first one I read in English, too.
