the Rand in chapter one seems likely to preach love not war Jim Send a noteboard - 08/10/2010 05:32:21 AM
What have the Seanchan done to actually attack Rand? Sure they hit the White Tower, but IIRC, they haven't hit any of his positions. Honestly they can't afford to fight the Seanchan their army is too big, the battle would be too costly and Nicola's Foretelling indicates that the Seanchan will still be a threat after TG. Rand is pretty much the only one who might be able to convince her that they're actually needed for the moment.
Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

She has no reason to be pissed about being asked to follow Rand - but that won't stop her of course. - 03/10/2010 12:57:48 PM 549 Views
So you would be fine if the leader of your country simply decided one day to follow someone else in - 03/10/2010 04:00:27 PM 532 Views
