She has no reason to be pissed about being asked to follow Rand - but that won't stop her of course. - Edit 1

Even after seeing that their rule is benign to the common folk I can't see him allowing them to continue as they are with TG right on top of them. Either Tuon is going to have another encounter with him and see the change and be "bound to him" or he's going to crush them and literally bind them in some way (perhaps Fortuona has an appointment with an Oath Rod) ... the Prophecy says he will "bind the 9 moons to him" ... although she's not technically DoNM anymore so it seems more likely that he will in some way bind the Seanchan Nation.
If anything I think he's going to ask Egwene to join the Tower under him which she will not be happy about since it will create a number of nightmares in the form of Romanda and Lelaine. He may also insist that Taim/Logain must be considered her equal with both male and female Channelers being ultimately lead by him.
Here's hoping. But why would she be MAD about this, if she's the good guy and loyal friend to Rand and true ally of the Dragon Reborn that you and the original poster have been claiming? Because she doesn't like the idea of being 2nd place anymore than Elayne liked the idea of Rand "giving" the Throne of Andor to her. I don't see much of a difference ... Egwene is at this point the rightful ruler of the AS ... Rand coming along and telling her she has to bend knee to him is insulting. More so because they grew up together. The difference is that we all know (even you) that in the end Egwene WILL fall into line and make the AS do the same.
In all honesty that may not even be what pisses her off ... She may just be get on his case because she believes he Compelled AS to follow him... All we know is that Egwene WILL show Rand her anger. Mat and Perrin and Nynaeve and Elayne and Aviendha have all done the same so I fail to see why Egwene is a massive bitch for doing the same.
It's not insulting to ask/demand the Aes Sedai fall in line. If it was equivalent to Elayne, that'd be Rand turning up whilst there where still 2 Amyrlin's and telling all the Aes Sedai Egwene is the true one because he (Rand) states it to be so. Rand has never tried to interfere in the AS split, despite every AS he encounters trying to interfere with him.
The AS aren't unique in any shape or form - they don't have the most channelers, those they have are constrained by the Oaths. Wit h their army they are still less men by a lot then Rand already has, or the Seanchan have or the Borderlanders. As for politics - no land who isn't already with Rand will follow him because Egwene says to. Heck publicly being at odds with Rand could only help him get his alliance with the Seanchan.
The AS being allowed to run around outside the command structure of Rand at the top when he's trying to fight the last battle is a good recipe for disaster. Egwene's law of war and all.
What I'd like to see as the scene is Rand quoting the Law of War against the DO and then demanding the AS fall in behind him. Then we see Egwene go double standard on him about how the AS can't follow a mere man, blah, blah, blah. And Rand give her the choice of follow him or stay away from him, his lands, his channelers and the last battle as unless they are with him, they'd be more of a hinderance then a help. And she FINALLY has the revelation that Rand not her is the one who will save the world.
