Well, being one with the land was never a Bible-thing, that I recall. Jesus' stigmata were never reflected on the earth, nor Moses', nor did A&E's physical state affect the earth. Refresh me if I forgot something here. That bit is straight out of many other legends and stories, Arthurian tales in particular.

The real thing is that much like Nostradamus' predictions, there are certain things that are always going to appear. So: brothers, parents, mountains, rivers, valleys, war, swords, dead bodies - these are all things that are going to pop up. I've never read the Koran/Quran/sp?, but I'm pretty sure there's something big involving Mohammad and a mountain as well.

I do like the allusion that you point out, however. I sincerely hope that Egwene doesn't make such a response that a cloud of evil goes around killing people!
