I'm still sticking to Moghedien as the possible teacher for Delana, while agreeing with you that Granedal would be a more logical choice. But barring her, I think Moghedien is the only logical option.
And I don't think Nynaeve meant "subtle" to mean complex with respect to Delana's compulsion. I think Kerb's personality itself had been erased by the complexity of Graendal's compulsion. Delana's compulsion on Ramshalan obviously had no such effects. It was subtler in the sense that it was simpler.
As for Aran'gar not compelling Egwene... I think the reason is obvious. Egwene tells us she learned compulsion from Moggy and how to counteract it. This is almost certainly info Moggy gave Moridin who probably gave it to Aran'gar. No point trying something that would definitely raise Egwene's suspicions while also proving to be completely useless.

I think the whole scene would have been much better if it turned out that Kerb was indeed a trap set by Graendal to lure Rand to her base (I forget who originally suggested that... either you or darius I think). It would have given her more credibility as a crafty schemer. Ultimately, she would still have underestimated Dark Rand, but that would have been reasonable given how quickly he changed.
She may consider surviving to be a victory, but at best it is only Pyrrhic.

I think this is the type of info that RJ never got around to revealing.

Particularly the way he described sex. It reeked of Mormon discomfort with the topic.

Reeked? Great word. It seemed quite in line with RJ's own dealings with the topic. *NM*

RJ had great sexual humor--he even went a little overboard sometimes IMO

RJ said breasts all the time, but in a more clinical manner - folding arms under breasts, etc
