Hmmm.... - Edit 1

Twice recently ToM has been spoiled for me because a certain poster had spoilers in the title.

When are we going to get some people to regulate this kind of thing?

I was planning on waiting to get the book before I read the prologue, but it looks like I'm going to need to get the ebook now since it's been so heavily spoiled.

I don't want to name names or call anyone out, but I think it's getting to be a problem with some people ignoring forum rules.

I know I haven't been a perfect follower of the rules, but I think that's why we need mods/admins to make sure the rules are followed.

Of course there are rules, and people have to behave and follow the rules, but on a MB that doesn't have a dedicated spoiler MB, accident are bound to happen, and happen often.

Thing is, if you're sensitive to spoilers so much that reading prologue spoilers piss you off, the last place you ought to be around is a WOT discussion board if you don't intend to read the new material in a timely fashion. That's as much your responsability as it's everybody to respect posting rules.

Personally, my view is more that if something is released, then it's released. If you don't want to or can't read it now, and don't want to read spoilers, than it's primarly your responsability, and your duty not to whine about spoilers. Otherwise you just make yourself an hinderance to the discussions of other people who have read the material as released. Spoiler rules should be strictly to cover illegal leaks and so on, in my book.
