Mines didn't; he one-upped many of our ideas on one or two details - Edit 2

There were quite a few posters who thought that this plot was too convoluted and there was a whole lot of back and forth on this point. I maintained that this was what a reasonable person would do, given Graendal's skills and motivations.
It doesn't count (or not in the same way) if you merely said "I refuse to believe this because Graendal is too smart or narrative reasons suggest she will has stuff ahead to do." The one theory I read on the subject had her observing Rand's group and deftly undoing the Compulsion to make it look like she died. Such a theory could not possibly count as being right. To be able to claim to have "called" this one, IMO, you need to have specified that she had someone else weave the Compulsion. That was always the central issue - not whether or not she COULD have bailed, but how she faked Rand's proof. Did anyone else predict this?
Yes. The details that were up in the air was whether or not Aran'gar was there and whether Delana or another Black Ajah was present, but the main point was "Graendal survived" and quite a few of us offered examples pointing to how and why she would have fled. I offered a theory that was based on wards around saidin that would have been triggered when he channeled so much Power, and part of my theory was that she might have Linked with a BA Sister or a wilder in her palace.
The link to my mini-theory is funny in retrospect because Sidious at one point disagreed with me, and much of our back-and-forth in various posts at that time was me convincing him that Graendal hadn't died. I based my opinion on Rands' POV, the overall story structure, Graendal's motivations and personal characteristics in addition to that earlier point made about her cementing a partnership with Aran'gar. A few months later, he produced his theory, which I agreed with as being very likely.
But there was quite a minority of us who weren't convinced that she died, so I think those people deserve a piece of "I Got It Right" cake, especially since part of the fun in this series is trying to predict such things.
