One of my friends is a chemistry major, and she explained to me that when two women's cycles go into sync with each other, it's always as a result of pheremones. After being put in close proximity for X amount of time, all women mirror the one woman with the most dominant pheremones. I have no idea whether or not this is true, but it did pop up once in conversation.
