Click and enjoy...or not. Some of you do like to bitch over the smallest of things
Okay, I'll bitch about the small things and big things too.
This is energetic and exciting and captures one of the Wonder Girls, so will be very popular. But is SO wrong it's sad.
Good catch on the dress. Maybe if Egwene were a contestant on Project Runway, she could wear this dress, but as she's not on reality television, this is just stupid. Heidi would not be impressed.
And can someone point me in the direction of the passage in the books where raken are described as having demonic, glowing green eyes? And while you're at it, how about the one where raken are used as offensive weapons in battle, in a manner where they freely use claws and razor sharp teeth...against people they're supposedly trying to capture? And the heavily crested ridge on the head, not to mention the spikes down the back, geez. If this was supposed to be a Draconian on steriods, I'd call it a success, but as a raken? No.
And no matter what anybody says, I will never understand every artists need to do swirly smoke and colored lights every time someone is supposed to be channeling... I guess because anything that's magic is supposed to be mysterious and smoke = mystery? It just seems lazy to me...like a cop out.
Oh well, still better to look at than the DKS original cover...but as has been pointed out, that's a given.

I think it IS a pit. That's Egwene's proper residence, mythologically speaking. *NM*
