The fact that you would call the Holy Ghost a vessel in that sense shows how little you know

Father, Son and Holy Ghost. I'm sorry if I misinterpreted what the priest discusses every christmas, but it lead me to believe that the Holy Ghost was the vessel that the Father sent to impregnate Mary. I'm sorry if that was misinterpreted, but I'm not a complete idiot, thank you.
Interpreting a religious issue based on Christmas sermons is like analyzing WoT based on reading only the prologues. This is hardly the time or place to get into the mechanics of the Trinity, but suffice to say it falls far short and borders Danish-cartoon-level offensiveness towards Roman Catholics.
In addition, your use of the term "immaculately conceive" is inaccurate as well. The Immaculate Conception has NOTHING to do with sex. It refers to Mary being conceived free from the guilt of original sin, which is the heritage of all humanity, excepting her and her Son. It has nothing to do with the mechanics of her biological existance, and Church teaching is that she WAS conceived through marital relations between her parents. Her virginity when she conceived and gave birth to her Son has nothing to do with sinlessness and everything to do with her being dedicated entirely to God over all else. Contrary to the inherited Protestant assumptions and views of human sexuality which pervade the English-speaking world, sin and sex are not inherently and naturally associated, in Catholic teaching or tradition. It is a mechanism designed by God for human reproduction and the sin associated with it is due to its misuse and abuse by fallen creatures.

I wonder if those are the archetypes on which the buddy-cop dynamic is based.
