The dress they put on Egwene is all wrong. She was demoted to novice. She's supposed to be wearing a plain dress, practically a sack. The dress they drew her in has cleavage and a stiff collar, and looks very well made (and well tailored). If she were the acting as the Amyrlin, yes that would be a good dress for her... but because (at that point) she was still a "prisoner" she should not be in that dress.
Agree on the dress, she should be wearing something plain, although maybe it's just tarted up for the cover.
Also, I'm not sure if that's how raken look in my mind.
It's good for a raken. I would imagine Lockwood got chosen for this cover because of all his work for D&D.
